Our organic beeswax wraps – gaia wrap!
Our beeswax wraps are regularly tested by the Eurofins laboratory for food safety – the safety of our products was most recently confirmed in June 2021.
Need to cover bowls sustainably? Wrap up food without plastic? Our gaia wrap is a reusable cling film alternative (also known as a wax wrap) that kicks unnecessary plastic waste out of your kitchen.
Our alternative to cling film, our beeswax wrap, is made of organic cotton printed with vegan inks, organic beeswax, organic jojoba oil (in very small quantities), and tree resin (in very small quantities) – and nothing else.
And of course, we stay sustainable with our packaging too. It is made of grass paper and, thanks to its high grass fiber content, can be easily recycled and is biodegradable.
With the exception of the tree resin, all components of the wax wraps are certified organic and tested for pesticides. We source the resin from a small producer in Austria.
We produce in Hamburg according to the highest standards in our certified organic manufacturing facility.
