Double-edged mini Japanese saw with plastic handle

The Japanese saw is a great tool, but requires some practice to handle. Unlike a handsaw or dovetail saw, it works only on the pull stroke, not the push, which means you need to exert significantly less force. This allows for particularly fine cuts and enables the use of a thinner saw blade that is flexible and therefore does not deform, even under considerable force. The saw is double-edged, ground very sharp, and is therefore equipped with a sturdy blade guard. The handle sits well and firmly in the hand, allowing for secure cutting.

Careful and patient guidance and supervision by adults is essential when using real tools. They contribute to safety and play a very important role in a child’s enjoyment of crafting, while also teaching children how to handle tools responsibly.
