Our stunning collection of bicycle baskets was designed by The Basket Room itself and hand-woven by our partner weaving cooperative in Northern Ghana.
Woven from wild Veta Vera grass, each basket goes through a detailed process of harvesting, rolling, dyeing, and finally weaving. Add a splash of color and style to your bike with this unique, fair-trade bicycle accessory.
The purchase of this basket directly supports the weavers in improving their livelihoods and becoming less dependent on subsistence farming, which is very unreliable during the dry seasons.

If your basket gets wet, simply let it dry and reshape naturally. When not in use, we recommend storing it somewhere completely dry (and moisture-free!)
