Please note: The white items in the Column collection run slightly smaller than the dark grey items. Therefore, it is not always possible to stack a mix of these two colors on top of each other.
For the Column collection, pigments were mixed with the liquid clay to color the pieces through to the core. As a result, the inner and outer surfaces have a similar hue.
The dark grey pieces are glazed on the inside for protection. The white products have a glaze on both the inside and the outside, as this shade is sensitive. Despite the contrast in surfaces, the shades can be perfectly combined.
All Archive Studio products are fired at a high temperature of 1,250 °C, which makes the clay compact and the product durable and strong. This makes all products perfectly dishwasher safe. As all products are handmade and due to temperature differences in the kiln, the products vary slightly in size and color, making each piece unique.
All products are handmade in a Vietnamese workshop. The collaboration with this small producer has been recognized by the EU as a program to support the local economy.
