Various wild bee species feel right at home in this bee-friendly insect hotel. It is crafted from particularly high-quality solid wood. The holes were drilled into the longitudinal grain to avoid cracks and splinters, significantly reducing the risk of injury for future residents. The individual tubes were custom-made, with each one matching the specific needs of wild bees in diameter and length. Since there is a wide variety of tube diameters, a great diversity of wild bee species can use the hotel – giving little explorers the opportunity to observe many different wild bees in their natural environment from March through to the autumn. And they can do so from up close, as these small insects do not attack to defend their brood.
