Household gloves made from 100% FSC®-certified natural latex, with a cotton-flocked interior for a comfortable fit and easy on/off. Premium quality, durable and long-lasting. Green&Fair household gloves are fair-trade certified. A FairTrade premium is paid on every kilo of rubber, which goes into a social fund to improve the living conditions of rubber tappers and their families.
These household gloves are Fair & Social:
The household gloves bear the Fair Rubber e.V. logo, which guarantees that a fair-trade premium has been paid for every kg of natural rubber. By paying a fair-trade premium to the primary producers of our products, it is ensured that production costs are covered for smallholders even when world market prices are low, and that plantation workers receive an additional payment independent of the world market price, which they can decide how to use themselves.
These household gloves are resource-efficient:
The natural latex for these household gloves comes from FSC-certified plantations. FSC® stands for Forest Stewardship Council® and is an international certification system for forest management. Ten globally valid principles guarantee that wood, paper, and natural rubber products with the FSC label originate from responsibly managed forests. These principles are set out in an international standard. The FSC standard requires that the ecological functions of a forest must be maintained; it protects endangered animal and plant species and secures the rights of indigenous peoples and workers.
By using 100% Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified natural rubber, these household gloves contribute to the absorption of CO2 – unlike PVC and other plastics, which release CO2 during their production from petroleum. No plasticizers, etc., are used in production.
