Please note: The white items in the Column collection are slightly smaller than the dark grey items. Therefore, it is not always possible to stack a mix of these two colors on top of each other.
For the Column collection, the pigments were mixed with the liquid clay to color the pieces through to the core. As a result, the inner and outer surfaces have a similar tone.
The dark grey pieces are glazed on the inside for protection. The white products have a glaze on both the inside and the outside of the products because this color is sensitive. Despite the contrast in the surfaces, the shades can be perfectly combined.
All Archive Studio products are fired at a high temperature of 1,250 °C, which makes the clay compact and the product durable and strong. As a result, all products are perfectly dishwasher safe. Since all products are handmade and due to temperature differences in the kiln, the products differ slightly in size and color, making each piece unique.
All products are handmade in a Vietnamese workshop. The collaboration with this small producer has been recognized by the EU as a program to support the local economy.
