Humans are often like paper boats at sea - tossed about by the waves of fate, we rock through our lives with more or less purpose. It is all the better to have an anchor, a steady hold in life, to rest, to pause, and to relax. For many, this hold is God and the anchor is baptism.
And for those who find that too philosophical: flowers grow out of the boat!
- The attached paper boat is made of handmade seed paper. After detaching, lightly cover with soil, water, and enjoy the growing wildflowers.
- The boat is also printed on the card, so the motif remains.
- The folding card is 10.5 x 14.8 cm (DIN A6) and made of 283g/m² kraft cardboard.
- The envelope is size C6, meaning it is 11.4 x 16.2 cm.
- The envelope and card together weigh about 15 grams. Postage is currently €0.70, or sometimes €0.85 per card for the dark envelopes (as of 04/2016).

Towards the sun
A baptism is the beginning of a new chapter in life. After all, the child, that little boat, has often just discovered the fickle waves of life. Just as at sea, they will experience sunny and calm times here, but also stormy ones. To ensure the protégé finds their way well on this earth, you wish them all the best on their journey and support them wherever you can. With our greeting card, we show how a baptism can be seen as a new beginning. Just as a flower needs time to find the sun until it finally blossoms in bright colors, the child is also a small sprout that one nurtures and guides along its path.
The right words
Thinking of baptism congratulations is often harder than, for example, wishing someone a happy birthday. Especially when you have been chosen as a godfather or godmother, you want to find words that not only express gratitude but also give the baptized child strength. We have put ourselves in your shoes and looked up inspiration here and there, so that you can shine with the perfect baptism card.
