In winter, you can feed not only the birds in your garden, but squirrels also appreciate a little attention. Once the ground freezes, these little acrobats find it difficult to locate enough food.

The Krabbelkäfer squirrel feeder is perfectly suited to support squirrels in their search for food. Simply place suitable food into the feeder; the clever rodents will recognize it and can sit on the small wooden platform in front of the house. Because these cute creatures are very intelligent, they can open the hinged zinc roof themselves and help themselves to the food. The roof closes automatically and is designed so that only squirrels can open it.

Thanks to the two holes on the back panel, the feeder can be attached to any tree, e.g., with a piece of string; for tamer squirrels, it can also be placed on a balcony or patio. As a rule, however, a sufficient height should be chosen so that the adorable animals can feed undisturbed.
With the included brush and 8 different acrylic paints, little conservationists can create an individual, colorful feeding station for the squirrels.

Note: Please only fill with suitable food. Hazelnuts, walnuts, sunflower seeds, carrot pieces, unsweetened rusks, and in moderation, fruit such as apple pieces and grapes are particularly suitable. Please do not put bread or food scraps in the feeder, as these can go moldy.
