The waterproof material looks much more sophisticated than the usual shiny plastic saddle covers, which often feel and look a bit like a plastic bag. A nice detail: in addition to the small finger loop for putting the cover on and taking it off, there is a slightly longer loop that you can thread through the seat post if you take the trouble to do so. That way, nobody can steal your beautiful saddle cover.
