How does the forest sleep?

Although Fritzi should have been asleep long ago, the little wild boar girl is not tired at all. And besides, it’s not even properly dark yet! So Fritzi crawls out of the blackberry bush and trots curiously into the forest. On her walk, Fritzi notices that every animal sleeps quite differently: The deer lies down all alone in a hollow on the forest floor, the woodpecker yawns high up in the tree, and the bats slumber hanging upside down. That doesn’t look very cozy, though ... By the time the moon is shining brightly, Fritzi returns to the blackberry bush. Her siblings and parents are lying snuggled closely together on the soft moss. That must be comfortable! So the little wild boar girl snuggles up tight against her family, and ever so slowly, her eyes close. Good night, Fritzi!
